Manager of Religious Education
JOB OPENING - Manager Of Religious Education Program ( for Preschool through 5th grade)
6 -7 hours per week, $15.00 per hour. Most of the job can be done at your home, at your own schedule but there is an office and computer at Starr King. All the lesson plans will already be created and teachers for each Sunday arranged.
> The responsibilities would include:
> 2 or 3 Sundays each month for 2 hours, set up classrooms, greet children and support volunteer teachers as needed, any wrap up as needed ( the class time is only 1 hour)
> -supervise the childcare provider- we will also be hiring someone to take over that job
> -weekly and monthly information to office administrator for website, newspaper and more
> -connecting with enrolled families ( emails/phone calls)
> -1 hour monthly staff meeting
> We usually have between 3 and 12 children on a Sunday.

Director of Faith Formation
Starr King Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (SKUUF) is a faith community that is committed to spiritual growth and justice. We are LGBTQ welcoming and our building is fully accessible. 20 hours per week including Sunday mornings, mid-August through mid-June. The weekly hours are flexible with one Sunday off each month.
Join an exciting team of professionals at SKUUF, Plymouth, NH. The professional team, the members and friends of the Starr King community are a supportive, generous group of active people of all ages.
Plan and coordinate the Sunday children’s Religious Educations program and other activities with support from the Minister and Life Span Development committee.
Coordinate and oversee volunteer leaders for Life Span adult education, Soul Matters (small group ministry) Program and provide leadership and support for those volunteers.
Identify/create and publicize opportunities for children, youth, and adults to put their faith into practice with action at home and in the wider world.
Participate in worship planning with Minister and Music Director.

Experience and/or training working with children
Self-directed with strong organizational interpersonal, and electronic communication skills
Comfort with a wide variety of religious views and interest in faith formation
Volunteer management skills
Strong desire for professional and personal growth
